Pricing ranges vary because the builds differ substantially in complexity, access, support burden, and risk. A setup involving email, project tracking, and a briefing is not equivalent to a system that publishes content, handles customers, or interacts with financial accounts.
Retainers create an obligation to maintain the system. Connectors can fail, credentials can expire, client processes can change, and skills can become outdated. The provider must be prepared to operate the system after the initial demonstration.
