Overview
Hermes becomes an operational employee when it can receive work and report progress through the channels already used by the individual or team. Desktop chat alone limits the agent to the desk.
Telegram, Slack, and iMessage extend the operating relationship to mobile work, team collaboration, capture, alerts, and asynchronous execution.
A gateway connects Hermes to these channels. When a channel is added or removed, the gateway normally needs to restart so the new configuration takes effect.
